CE Mark Information

CE Marking of Hunter Plastics Products

The CE mark is not a quality mark, the mark simply indicates that the product satisfies the requirements of the Construction Products Directive (CPD) and is based on a harmonized European Standard (hEN). The CE mark will be a legal requirement from a date as yet to be agreed by the supervisory bodies.

The Harmonized Standards are not intended as product or system standards; instead they only cover the aspects of performance relevant to the essential requirements of the CPD. The Harmonised Standards (hENs) relevant to Hunter Plastics product portfolio are:

• EN 15012 - Soil & Waste
• EN 15013 - Drainage & Sewerage

Hunter is a member of the British Plastics Federation (BPF) Pipes Group. Within this group a CE Marking & Certification Working Group is operating to ensure that full recommendations are provided to all member companies regarding the implementation of the CE mark.
