Squareflo at Hough Green, Widnes
Plumbing contractor Lawton Plumbing Ltd installed Hunter Plastics Squareflo rainwater system rainwater systems when refurbishing houses at Hough Green, Widnes. The completely redeveloped maisonettes incorporate Hunter's in black to complement the buildings' fabric.
The refurbishment was carried out by Horrocks Construction for Halton Borough Council. Halton BC decided to reduce the buildings from four to two storeys and install attractive tile pitched roofs.
"We have used Hunter systems over a number of years and have always been impressed with the products' performance," comments Mervyn Jones of Halton Borough Council's Architectural and Technical Services. "In this case we were not only looking for products which would stand the test of time, we also wanted the buildings to look smart for local families to move into. Hunter's Squareflo system certainly fits the bill."

Hunter's Squareflo Surefit is being installed on 186 council flats and terraced houses in the Lissadell Street area. E Cookson's Site Manager, Christopher Casserley, said "The way that Squareflo just snaps in is brilliant - it doesn't take five minutes for the boys to install it now, they're racing ahead of the window fitters!"
