Flat Roof Outlets at Cornerhouse development, Nottingham
The high-profile Cornerhouse Development is on a prominent site in the centre of Nottingham and consists of nightclubs, restaurants, bars, a fitness centre and a 14 screen Warner Brothers Cinema. The site was developed by Wilson Boden Developments plc.
Hunter's flat roof outlets were installed to the Sarnafil roof areas by roofing contractor, Single Ply Roofing Systems, of Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Mick Whyard of Single Ply Roofing Systems says: "Hunter's outlets have a superior flow rate to alternative products and were installed in parts of the site where the flow rate was critical"
Flat Roof Outlets at Sainsbury's, Colchester
Hunter Plastics' flat roof outlets have been used on a large new extension to Sainsbury's store in Stanway, Colchester. Contractor ARB Mechanical chose sixteen Hunter roof outlets to drain water from the extension, which has a total roof area of approximately 300m2.
ARB Director Rob Henderson says: "Hunter Plastics products have been specified on many of our previous contracts by a variety of consultants. Quality and service have always been first rate and we have every confidence in them".
Roof Outlets on Norwich Castle
When Norwich castle museum underwent a £11.5 million refurbishment funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Hunter Plastics roof drainage system were installed, combining flat roof outlets with internal drainage pipe protects the interior of one thousand year old Norwich Castle from potentially disastrous water ingress.
Rainwater is channelled from the large and complex castle roof via Hunter's flat roof outlets and is carried through Hunter drainage pipes down internal walls to ground level. Installed by specialist contractor Constructional Fixing Services, contracted to main contractor R G Carter.
The Hunter system was selected by Tony Waverill of Constructional Fixing Services, who says: "We always use Hunter Plastics systems. They have an excellent range which allows us to meet the most complex requirements with utmost efficiency".
