Regency at Broadlands Court Somerset
Broadlands Court in Taunton, Somerset, an upmarket private
development on land previously owned by the Ministry of Agriculture
Fisheries and Food. The Ministry used the main two-storey Georgian
property as an administrative centre but its now converted into
four luxury apartments. Its generous roof area called for a high
capacity rainwater system but at the same time, the nature of the
development demanded an aesthetically pleasing system. In addition,
planning regulations for this prestigious development required a
profile that would emulate some existing rainwater products still
found on site.
Hunter's Regency system was specified by Bristol based developer
Castle Tynings. Director Peter Thawley says: "This is a high
quality development and we chose all products to a high
specification. Hunter Plastics has a good name and offers
well-priced products. The Regency style fitted exactly the profile
required in all respects and its characteristics will enhance the
appearance of the property"
Regency at Crosby Homes North Yorks

Hunter's Regency system was selected to suit the style of local building vernacular for Crosby Homes' prestigious Whiddon Croft development at Menston near Leeds.
Martin Emms, Surveying Manager for Crosby Homes (Yorkshire) Ltd comments, "I've specified Hunter Plastics products extensively on other projects and been very satisfied. For this project we needed a system that would fit the bill aesthetically for this traditional rural-style site. But because some of the buildings have large roof areas, we needed a profile that was substantial enough to cope with the flow rates that we anticipated."
Regency at the Holiday Inn, Dartford Kent

Neptune Building Services specified Hunter's Regency profile guttering following a successful installation at the Holiday Inn at Cardiff. Bill Boucher, Managing Director commented, "Because the roof has a 22½º pitch we needed a high capacity rainwater system. But we also needed a system in keeping with the clean lines of the hotel's design. Hunter Plastics' Regency profile is light and easy to fit, attractive, and takes this high water flow in its stride."
Regency at Edgbaston Warwickshire County Cricket Club

Local installer Superior Plumbing Installations (SPI) fitted Hunter's Regency rainwater system to collect and remove water quickly and efficiently from the The three storey R E S Wyatt stands'1035m2 flat roof area. The rainwater system comprises more than 175 metres of Regency guttering and downpipes in attractive Van Dyke Brown.

Regency for Luxury apartments in Sefton Park, Liverpool

The developers, Banff Developments, pride themselves on priding the highest standards of specification and finish. The Regency system was chosen as a high quality, aesthetically pleasing system which would complement the elegant buildings but which also had the increased capacity to deal with rainwater from the large roof areas. The system was specified with white guttering to match the white fascia boards with downpipes in Van Dyke brown to blend with the brickwork.

Regency at Laurels Nursing Home

Set in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, the Laurels Bank Nursing and Residential Home, owned by Kent Health Care, offers accommodation to 60 residents. On two levels, the new building has been specifically designed with the elderly in mind. "Having a comfortable and attractive environment was of utmost importance," said Vic Cooper, manager of the home.

Regency at Riverside Orchard
Hunter Plastics' Regency rainwater system offered ARM Builders of Crewkerne the best of both worlds when they constructed Riverside Orchard in the conservation village of South Perrott in Dorset.
Tony Mazzeo of ARM Builders comments, "Riverside Orchard was built for my father, who wanted an `olde worlde' looking cottage, right down to the guttering! Hunter Plastics Regency rainwater system gave the house the right period character." As the property is situated in a conservation area, Dorset County Council assisted with details of the design.
Regency at Wain Homes, Cheshire

When Chester-based housebuilder Wainhomes used Regency on twelve 5-bedroomed executive homes in Pickmere, Cheshire.

Regency in Duddeston, Birmingham
Two four storey blocks of traditional brick-built maisonettes in Duddeston, Birmingham. Owned by Birmingham City Housing Department and built in the late 50's, the buildings original roofs were flat with internal rainwater outlets. The architects designed the new pitched roofs to incorporate large overhang eaves, of varying dimensions, to add character to the building. The designer commented: "The new guttering was an integral part of the new roof and after reviewing a selection of products at the design stage, Hunter Plastics' Regency was the preferred choice for this particular job - Hunter Plastics also gave us very efficient technical and product support throughout the whole process."
Regency on Cypress Point

Cypress Point in Lytham St Annes, comprises four hamlets totalling in excess of 400 luxury three, four and five bedroom homes around a village green with award-winning landscaping including ornamental ponds and watercourses along with woodland areas and paths.
Plumbing contractor Phil Rogerson Ltd Plumbing & Heating fitted literally miles of Hunter's Regency guttering in white on over 250 houses and apartments on the site. Warren Skelly, from Phil Rogerson Ltd Plumbing & Heating comments, "The new Surefit fixing system on the Hunter Regency guttering is certainly a big improvement. It is a lot more user-friendly and easy to fit and it is certainly quicker to put up," he comments. "This is especially true in winter when it is simple to put up, even with wet or cold hands."
Regency at Osbourne Grove, Wallasey
Osbourne Grove at Wallasey on the Wirral is a small residential development with fifteen properties - a mixture of town houses and semi detached homes.
Richard Webster from Webster Building is enthusiastic about the Hunter products used on the site. "We have never used Hunter products before but I have to say I've been very impressed," he comments. "Plastic is not just plastic. By that I mean that the quality of the material does vary from supplier to supplier. We looked at quite a few systems and the finish on the Hunter products was very good."
