Taking part in "blogging" is quite a departure for me.

Whilst I really enjoy being an active part of the construction industry, meeting and interacting with as many people as possible, I have tended to keep my views on some wider issues a bit closer to my chest.

Via my blog I intend to share with readers an insight in to "what is going on in my world".

Not just at Hunter, but also in the industry, the economy, the sporting world as I see it (sports touch our industry in many ways), and hopefully give everybody a better understanding of "what is happening" away from my working life.

2010 holds so many big issues. The general election, the football world cup, potentially the closest 6 nations in years, the re-building of Haiti, my youngest son doing well in his A levels and departing for University, and I am determined to get fit (something I am not at present)

Should be an interesting year.
